Historic picture of Atlas Works which is now known today as Wetherby Engineers (UK) Ltd

The origins of the business lie in the celebrated Atlas Works of Liversedge in Yorkshire, established in 1919, which manufactured components for small armaments and milling machinery for aircraft and tank parts during WWII.

Eventually evolving to be known as "Skilled-Engineers", we have decades of experience providing subcontract services to the local, regional and UK markets, with our components incorporated into products marketed the world over.

In 2014 we acquired the business of "Wetherby Engineering", a Bradford based engineering business of over 50 years standing. The combined business can produce machined parts up to 1000mm Milling, 3mm to 600mm Turning Diameter.  In 2015 we moved to a modern new facility in Bradford. Unlike many local engineering firms, we continue to invest in training to safeguard the future of engineering in the UK.

We are now known as "Wetherby Engineers (UK) Ltd".
